TRAVESTY OF THE DAY! 8-25-09

Yeah, OK. It probably looked good on paper... For Rolling Stone's 10th anniversary, someone had the bright idea to get Ted Neely (the guy who played Jesus in the movie version of Jesus Christ Superstar) singing a montage of Beatles songs with a nutty troop of "dancers" that at one point sport Nixon, Kissinger, and Carter rubber masks... Wait a second... THAT SOUNDS HORRIBLE! How did Richie Havens get mixed up in this?! Well, it certainly was a low point not only in American television but in mankind's existence as a whole. Here are both parts of this smelly 14 minute plus montage... Do yourself a favor and turn off your computer now and thank the heavens that I watched this whole thing so you don't have to.
